We are on the look-out to hire an experienced PMO executive to establish PMO practice to provide guidance and execution of projects. A successful PMO is a combination of good processes and tools and you can build;
1. Establishing Governance:
Build governance and policies to ensure the right people have access and relevant information in order to make strategic decisions. This involves working with multiple stakeholders across the technology team and the product team.
Provide guidance, methods, systems, tools and metrics for the engineering teams for consistent outcomes for the organization.
2. Best Practices and Processes:
One of the critical and the most important aspect is to set the best practices and the processes. The desired candidate should consolidate and implement the best practices across the engineering teams so that organizations can readily manage and deliver the delivery.
3. Knowledge Management:
Enables team efficiency by facilitating collaborative knowledge transfers across the engineering teams which includes tracking technology roadmap, monthly reviews / MIS, required documentation available across all stakeholders. With a set processes, teams can shorten their learning curve and adapt to move ahead.
One of the core responsibility involves gathering data across the team. track the progress, status of the milestones and the goals reached. These reports eventually will project the health of the team and provide insights on the process, progress and flag the risks.
