We’re now looking for someone that is ready for new exciting challenges and willing to enter our family as “Data Analyst”. This position is full-time and will be based in our Milan office (during COVID-19 crisis, the position will be remote-based).


We are looking for a brilliant and talented Data Analyst to join our newly created Data & Analytics team, to unleash the power of Kalyera’s data to influence and guide every side of the company, from Marketing to Product to Finance. The ideal candidate is passionate about data and focused on delivering business impact.


  • Democratize data usage in Kaleyra through skillful data structuring and use of dashboards and visualization tools.

  • Work side-by-side with other teams to educate/leverage new techniques and tools for analyses.

  • Partner with the Product team to design, execute and analyze results for experiments and A/B tests.

  • Analyze online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, and funnel analysis.

  • Support the management with making data-driven decisions with weekly/monthly KPIs reports.



  • Degree in an analytical field.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.

  • SQL-as-a-second-language is required.

  • Good knowledge of Python and its most common Data Science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch...).

  • Fluent in data wrangling and preparation (exploratory analysis, profiling & cleansing, feature engineering).

  • Good knowledge of the AWS ecosystem and its data lake environment (S3, EMR, Lambda, ...) is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of modern data pipelining / ELT data flow and data modeling best practices.

  • This is an International position: an excellent knowledge of written and oral English is mandatory.

  • Experience in working in a very dynamic business environment is not a requirement, but will make your life easier.
