We’re that team of 300+ individuals across 3 continents working hard (and playing hard) to enable businesses to be there for their customers across various communication channels, wherever their customers are. Who: 

At Kaleyra, we are looking for Leader who can lead and grow the People & Culture function in the US. She / he should be dynamic, organized, self-starter and is able to ramp up the team from scratch.

 

Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate:

Is strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our employees in US. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

 

Candidate should;

  • Have the ability to manage the entire gamut of HR in US from hiring to exit, including managing payroll, HR data and office administration / facilities
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to ensure smooth continuity of the operations
  • Creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention
  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • Solution driven work in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive solutions
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus
  • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver, can handle conflict and resolve amicably
  • Have the ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels including hourly paid, shop floor employees
  • Have a proven hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable.
  • Possess strong change management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Have led complex change management and/or led key HR project implementations
  • Vendor Management, being a single point of contact to manage vendors which includes agreement, negotiation and execution

Qualification: 

  
  • 8+ years of experience in HR domain; preferably from the IT / Software industry
  • Added advantage if the candidate has been part of international assignments and is multi-cultural 
  • Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruiting, especially for high growth teams 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing people and employee relations
  • Good knowledge on the labour regulations prevalent across the country
  • Hands on experience in managing payroll, increment, bonus pay-outs
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, challenging work environment while prioritizing multiple functions and managing time efficiently
