Do you have a flair for engaging, gripping snappy taglines on webpages and social media, or flowing educational pieces on the latest technology? Do you enjoy reading about the happenings in the industry you work in and creating thought leadership articles? Do you want to experiment with video and audio content? We might just need you on board.


We are Kaleyra.

If you’ve used Uber, Ola, Swiggy, Amazon, Practo or Flipkart, you’ve already experienced Kaleyra. When you needed to reach customer care with a tap in the app, we were there. When you got notifications about your order getting shipped, or that appointment being booked, we were there. We’re that team of 250+ individuals across 3 continents working hard (and playing hard) to enable businesses to be there for their customers across various communication channels, wherever their customers are. When a customer wants to reach a brand, we help that brand be just one click away.


What we want to do:

Let people and brands know of all the cool ways Kaleyra’s technology is helping (and/or can help) them out. We’d shout off the rooftops, but there are more efficient methods nowadays.


We need someone who can work across written, visual, audio, and video content. We love team players who are proactive and creative self-starters too. Most importantly, you should be willing to learn and unlearn. What you can do to help:

  • Develop, write and deliver persuasive, consistent, well-punctuated, grammatically and lexically correct, proofread copy for the website, blogs, email marketing campaigns, sales collateral, support documents, press releases, social media posts as well as scripts for video and audio content (yes, we do audio too.)
  • Research, develop, write and deliver accurate customer stories and whitepapers (we’ll help you with the data.)
  • Ensure all-around consistency in style, fonts, images and tone (we like our i’s dotted and t’s crossed!)
  • Optimize all your lovely content for search engines to get it to more people to enjoy (so basically, be SEO-savvy.)
  • Maintain the existing content library, and keep up with new content forms for marketing efforts (we’re trying to be trendy like that.)
  • Identify gaps in previously-generated content and audience’s/customers’ needs to fulfill using new content (we’re always game for new ideas.)
  • Build and contribute to the marketing calendar (we’re big enough that we need to coordinate our efforts.)
  • Coordinate with other content specialists and marketing teammates across continents to ensure a unified written and visual voice for Kaleyra (the brand guidelines may help you here.)
  • Measure the impact of your creations and perform analysis to improve critical metrics (what gets measured gets managed.)


What will help you succeed in this role:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Your portfolio of published articles
  • An ability to plan in advance and execute with precision to meet deadlines
  • An eye for detail, tons of motivation, and a thirst to unlearn, learn and improve
  • The ability to work well with other stakeholders and team members
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources, primary, secondary or tertiary
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Joomla)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
