InfoSec team’s responsibilities are to choose the best available technology options to grant the best level of security to the Company. 


Here are the key activities that the team will be handling.

  • Design, deploy and manage security systems to safeguard the company information assets to protect CIA time-to-time

  • Lead the design, architecture and deployment of systems/platforms that safeguard the organization information/data assets, applications, services and systems

  • Develop and implement metrics that measure the effectiveness of security measures taken & improve the same on an ongoing basis.

  • Evaluate and implement security systems and solutions as part of safeguarding the organization systems

  • Build and lead a team of Security engineers and analysts while being the subject matter expert of the Security domain

  • Responsible for driving the implementation of compliance and security programs that include but not limited to ISO 27001, SOX and ITGC.

What will you be doing?

  • As a Lead engineer, build and lead the security design implementation practice 

  • Assess the state of security systems, determine and bridge the gaps by implementing appropriate solutions

  • Evangelize and practice industry best security practices including educating the application owners across the organization

  • Work with OEMs and third-party vendors in evaluating & bringing the best security tools/platforms.

  • From time-to-time, audit internal systems and perimeter security, take measures to enhance the organizational security posture

  • With the help of analysts, maintain the ISO 27001 framework across three different countries

  • Monitor, assess and manage the security of the applications and both enterprise and production services

Expected skill-set and competencies

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise and production grade security solutions

  • Expert level proficiency in managing Firewalls, UTMs, IDS/IPS, DDoS Systems & Web Application Firewalls (WAF)

  • Hands-on experience in leading/handling incident response and SIEM

  • Highly principled and follows defence-in-depth approach in designing and running a security organization

  • Proficient with the implementation of security standards/frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, SOC 2 / 3, SANS, COBIT, NERC CSS and NIST etc.

  • Comes with application engineering background, proficient in troubleshooting and fixing deep security issues requiring the knowledge of various networking protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, IPSEC, GRE, VPN)

  • In one of his/her previous roles, have worked as Systems Engineer/Administrator in supporting various flavors of OSs (Linux, Unix, Windows and Mac OS)

  • Hands-on knowledge with network troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Traceroute, and MTR

  • Understands in engaging third-party vendors in VAPT assignments, interprets the results and drives the expected outcome in consultation with Head of InfoSec

  • Must have worked and proficient in securing & running systems/workloads securely in a public cloud environment (ex: AWS/GCP)

  • Understands the DevSecOps way of leading the Security including the hands-on experience with tooling

  • Develops Security metrics (Ops and Engineering), follows a fact and data driven approach in constantly raising the security standards of the company.

  • Expert level proficiency in design and implementing various Identity and Access Management solutions that include but not limited to AD, LDAP, Okta, and SSO with oAuth2/SAML.
